Classroom Management

 Classroom management is the process teachers use to ensure that lessons run smoothly without disruptive behavior from learners.

There are strategies to manage a classroom successfully. Some of these strategies are;

• Establish an effective environment on the first day of class.

• Interact with the learners/students regularly.

• Talk privately with a disruptive learner/students.

• If a learner makes inappropriate comments or use inappropriate language, address or confront it immediately.

• Establish Classroom rules.

• Good classroom managers don't play favorites meaning keep it fair, always.

Good classroom management is not only about law and order, connect with your learners, it encourages students/learners to invest in their own learning and it also discourages disruptions.
